Welcome back to my blog! I promised daily posts on my Capstone Project and here it is. This is going to be a short post updating you on my progress and changes, even though there isn't anything major. If you have not checked out my previous post that introduced my project then here's a link. (: Anyways, just in case you need a reminder or clarification on what my project is then, we're taking information given to us by students on their stress to aware out community about the tension and anxiety they're dealing with. Both Michelle and I are hoping to help find strategies and ways to relieve stress. My partner and I made a decent amount of progress on our project. We practically have half of the project finished, well, at least the things we currently need to worry about (or so I think).

In the one week span that I was away from blogging, we were able to meet and talk with our mentor, Ms. Castaneda. During our visit, we interviewed her which helped us progress in the blog section of our project. (Stay tuned for a post on the interview!) Our mentor provided us with many ideas and ways to aware people about stress. One thing that will be changing, though I don't think I stated it, is that we're going to be making pamphlets (one of Ms. Castaneda's ideas) to properly aware teachers, parents, and our community about student's pressure, instead of doing so on a blog. The pamphlet we create might end up in our counselor's office to possibly become a help to students coming in and out of her office because, surprisingly, not many students try to seek for help about this subject.
Besides the addition of the pamphlet, nothing really has changed to our project. However, we were able to accomplish one part of our project, which was to survey students about their stress (it will be having it's own blog post, so look out for that).
Before I end off this lousy excuse of a post, thank you to all the students who helped out by taking time out of their day to do our survey! It means a lot to us! Thank you for doing so!
Thank you for reading this update post. Hope you have an amazing day/night/etc. (:

You and Mitchell got this ! I really like the layout of your blog, and of course, nice blog as always (: !

ReplyDeleteI am glad you take pride in what you write. This makes you stand way out from many other writers that push poorly written content.
